A little about me: I grew up in Maryland for a majority of my life; I moved up here to Pennsylvania about two years ago. I am a proud step-cat-mom to my tabby, Tiger; I hope to get him a canine sibling soon, but for now I want to offer my services to fellow animal lovers until I am in a better spot to do so. I worked in the outdoor industry for several years along the Potomac River when I lived in Maryland, so I have a passion for animals and the outdoors. I intend on becoming a professional dog trainer; I am attending the Victoria Stilwell Academy where I will begin courses & assessments to earn my professional dog training certifications-- I will be updating my profile as I progress, so keep an eye out if you are interested! My experience: It all started when I personally cared for and trained my family's dog, Jester. Despite his Shih Tzu stubbornness, Jester is now a mellow, well-behaved gentleman with a funny, fluffy face. Until I am able to adopt my own companion, I want to share that same love and care that Jester enjoyed, with other animals and their owners. In addition to Jester, I also cared for/walked other dogs (small, medium, and large breeds,) and cats. I have been providing walking, drop-in, and house-sitting services on Rover since this past February, so I am honored to have those furry companions as reference on my doggy/kitty resume as well! I am honored to share and create such fulfilling experiences with my current and past clients :) Cancellations: I require 24 hour notice before bookings OR cancellations. The only times I will cancel a booking are if I am experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, or if I make a mutual agreement/adjustment with an owner/owners. I will never cancel last minute for any other reason. I have worked through tornado advisories, an infected leg wound, 103 degree weather, a sprained ankle, bee swarm attack, and even through traumatic incidents-- it takes a lot for me to put an owner/owners in an inconvenient position after making an agreed upon commitment.
