Where your pets Stay Happy!
Pet care experience
Welcome to Stay Happy Pet Sitting your professional, licensed, bonded and insured pet sitting company in Colorado Springs, CO. Every member of our team is trained in Pet Tech First Aid & CPR, and has cleared a thorough background check. Our owner graduated from Colorado State University, and has been a resident of the Colorado Springs community since 1985. Everyone on our team possesses prior experience working with animals, and is passionate about delivering outstanding care. Stay Happy Pet Sitting provides your fur and feather babies with private, personalized care in their own home. Your pet will be provided with companionship, affection and playtime throughout your absence—as if they are members of our family. As much as you miss your pets when you’re away, they miss you even more. Staying in their own home, rather than a tiny cage or kennel filled with dozens of other dogs, helps limit their anxiety and makes your time apart less stressful on the both of you. Don’t need a full-time pet sitter? Check out our pet wellness visits. Do your pets get lonely or need to be walked or let out during the day while you’re at work or on a long overdue date night? We’re house trained and eager to please! If you’d just like us to check in on your fur and feather babies while you’re gone, we can set up a schedule for feeding, potty breaks and playtime. Fresh food, water and the necessary medications or supplements are given as directed. Food bowls, aviaries and pocket pet cages are cleaned regularly, and we’ll make sure the litter box doesn’t get stinky. Stay Happy Pet Sitting is a healthier, happier alternative to dog kennels. Whether you’re taking a vacation or in need of a quick check-in on your pets while you’re at work, we’re ready to offer our pet sitting services to support your pet care needs. Don’t forget, we’re house trained and eager to please!

Information Erin M. would like to know about your pet
1. What are your dogs names, and how did your dogs come to join your family? 2. Are your dogs spayed/neutered? Are they current on all necessary vaccinations? 3. Have your dogs completed socialization and obedience training? If yes, at approximately what age? 4. Have your dogs ever bitten anyone or shown aggressive behavior? If yes, what were the circumstances? 5. Are your dogs potty trained, and do either of them chew on home furnishings? Please let me know if you would like information to help you with either issue. 6. Have your dogs ever stayed with a pet sitter or been kennelled? If yes, how did they handle separation from you? 7. Do your dogs have any other fears or anxieties like thunder, fireworks, strong winds, etc. that we need to be aware of? If yes, what have you tried to ease their discomfort? Did it help?
A typical day
We prefer to take dogs on the same route as the owner usually does. Dogs are less likely to encounter unfamiliar people or pets on their normal route. For the safety of your pet and our staff we have a leashed-walk policy. We provide water and pre-approved training treats, poop bags, sun protection (t-shirts), and support any ongoing training your dog(s) may have received. Following the walk, we provide foot care to maintain healthy pet paws.
