Pet care experience
I had a Shih-poo named Holly for 12 years and now I have a 1-year-old Miniature Dachshund named Franklin who is friendly with everyone. In addition to caring for my own pets, over the years I've spent a lot of time caring for the dogs of friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with Labs, Retrievers, Yorkies, and Terriers just to name a few, so your dog is in safe hands no matter what size, breed, or temperament. My dog Holly was very shy, so I'm comfortable letting dogs warm up to me and working through obstacles. I currently live in Minneapolis where I have access to walking trails and dog parks. If your dog doesn't like to venture too far, my apartment is dog-friendly and offers an outdoor dog run. I would love to help you with your dog care needs!

She kept us up to date with how Maisey was doing with pictures and texts. Erin was also very flexible with last minute schedule changes and extending the time we needed her to watch our dog. My apartment is dog-friendly, so your dog will have the opportunity to meet other dogs from the building while using the fenced-in dog run just outside. I also have a sweet Miniature Dachshund, so your dog will need to be comfortable around other pets. I take caring for pets seriously and will work with them to make them feel comfortable and build trust.

A typical day
A typical day with me will include multiple trips to the dog run at my building and walks around the local neighborhood, which includes Gold Medal Park and the Stone Arch Bridge. I also love to play indoors with the dogs on extra cold days, so I have plenty of toys and games stocked for those occasions.
