I'd love to know anything you'd be willing to share with me about your animals. I understand that although most dogs have things in common, they all have unique personalities and needs. My boxer had hip dysplasia at the end of her life, among other health issues. I gained a lot of experience learning how to assist her without hurting her. My pit bull had diabetes toward the end of her life, as well as a skin condition that I had to tend to every day. It wasn't easy at first, but I was able to administer her insulin injections for months. I learned a lot about caring for physical and emotional needs from both of them.

I have experience walking with a very large and high energy dog at the Feather River. I definitely had to run to keep up with him for at least 30 minutes at a time. I used to walk a high energy, medium sized dog at Hillcrest Park as well. I had two dogs who loved neighborhood walks, and enjoyed playing fetch at Kingwood Park. I like to let the owners fill me in with preferred locations and activities if there are any.
