I have helped take care of pets beginning with our family cat in elementary school, moving to pet-sitting for friends and family in high school through college (everything from dogs and cats to rodents, fish, birds, horses). I have volunteered at a local veterinary hospital. Most recently I helped a good friend acquire her GSD puppy in 2019 and spent many a weekday playing with him out in the backyard for exercise and doing some indoor reinforcement training as well. I cannot have shedding pets in the home frequently because my husband is quite allergic, sadly.
