I work during the day (typical Mon-Fri stuff), but my office is close enough that I can come home for lunch if I choose to. Any dog who visited would have free reign of the house and would be walked on a leash as often as needed. The "years of experience" question is tricky - I've only been officially doing this through Rover for about 4 years....but I've always had a dog (usually 2) and my friends' dogs love to visit. I recently (January 2019) adopted an aging black lab who was fostered with 3 younger dogs, and I haven’t yet seen the limits of his patience. He’s very sweet! Why I love dog sitting I can't remember ever NOT having a dog, with the exception of living in the dorm in college. I love dogs, and will treat yours as I would my own - with humor, love, and patience. I'm an active person, and can adjust my daily routine to make sure your dog is getting the exercise he or she needs to be relaxed and happy, whether it's a 5 mile run, a game of frisbee at the dog park, or a leisurely walk around the block after dinner.
