Pet care experience
Canadian relocated to Arizona from Florida. I grew up with three giant Labrador retrievers and have a dog of my own (a four year old Hovawart named Jyn)! From couch potatoes to endless bundles of energy, I love dogs and cats of all energy levels and will mould myself to be what your pooch or kitty needs. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors. I am extremely flexible and easy going. Expert thrower of balls and waver of wands, expert snuggler, love to walk and get outside, not afraid of sloppy doggo kisses or getting my hands dirty. Currently home part time (working remotely every two weeks indefinitely), so I am available weekdays and weekends for walks, play dates, check-ins, house sitting, etc. Looking forward to meeting you and your companion!

Erin would be such a fantastic choice to watch over any of your furry family members! Erin is a true animal lover and always does what’s best for the animals that are in her care! Her dog and cat are so well trained and loved! I have also seen her interact with others pets and she gives them the same amount of attention and love that she does her own! You can truly see all of the time, diligence and nurturing she’s put into her pets!
Erin is such an energetic spirit. I’m convinced animals can sense her loving and playful personality from a mile away. She gives undivided attention to creatures in her care.

I believe in giving pets not only love, but respect and enrichment. A happy pet is the best pet, and not only will I exercise your pets physically (walks, play, etc.), but also mentally. I have puzzle games for both dogs and cats that I am happy to bring along with me.

Let me know if your pets require any special care or have any behaviours I should be on the lookout for. I am extremely flexible with giving oral medications and following feeding schedules/treats per day. How does your pet do with strangers? I would never want to make a pet feel unsafe or put them in a bad situation, so I like to respect their space and boundaries.
A typical day
I have puzzle games for both dogs and cats, and my pets really enjoy engaging with them! I will also take your dog on the walk it needs, whether it is a sniff walk or a motor walk (less stop, more go).

Availability
I currently work from home on a two week rotational basis, and my office is located in Tempe. During my remote weeks, I would be able to stay at your place for most of the day, caring for your pet’s needs. Working in office, I would be able to stop by in the morning for a potty break and walk, again in the afternoon, and during the evenings after 5pm.
