Hello there, fellow animal lover! My name is Erin, and I've been petsitting and housesitting for over 10 years. I hail from the Pacific Northwest where I regularly pet-sat for friends and family, and my network exploded by word of mouth and I was sitting multiple times a month for regular clients. I pet-sat full time for families with multiple animals in the year before moving to Austin and loved every second! From my first weekend in ATX, I've been volunteering with Austin Pets Alive and taking care of friend's animals while they're out of town. I have a sweet cat named Ada to visit at home, but I'd love to help you out with drop in visits, over night stays or boarding while you travel!

Erin was THE MOST kind, considerate, and gentle kitty caretaker of all time. It was my first time using Rover so I was a little nervous, especially because I went on a 6 week trip. She sent daily pictures of Cali, introduced her with the utmost care to her own kitty, Ada, and went above and beyond in helping to transfer her to the next cat sitter when I extended my trip. Great communication and I felt Cali to be very happy and well-cared for.
Erin did a great job. This was the first time using her and she was great.
Erin took great care of our senior citizen dog - would definitely recommend and will call her again in the future!
Erin was fantastic! She communicated so well…sending photos and keeping me up to date with Daisy during our entire trip. The house was super clean when we got home and she even washed her linens and towel. (Which we did not expect) Would LOVE to have her stay at my place to watch Daisy again! She’s awesome!

Information Erin H. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences. It's helpful to know your dog's activity level and typical routine so we can make sure we have a great time together. I always make sure to ask how your pup does with other dogs and strangers, so I know how to best handle them on walks. I am happy to cross the street as many times as necessary to avoid other doggos if that makes your dog the most comfortable!
A typical day
For the dog folks- I am happy taking pups on long walks no matter the weather! If your dog is comfortable with strangers, other dogs, and cars, I'm happy to head out to fenced-in dog parks. I love dogs that want to toss a toy and get out zoomies just as much as those who explore smells the whole time, but I'll be there to supervise as they socialize with other dogs either way. That beings said, no worries if your pup is shy, low energy or a senior who just loves snuggles. They are just as deserving of attention and comfort, and I will happily curl up with them on the couch! For the cat folks- I love cats of all ages, no matter if they enjoy playing or taking a healthy number of naps. I get along with every cat I've ever met and am very comfortable reading cat body language and getting to know each cat's unique personality and needs.

I love all animals, so I cherish my time petsitting. I'm mature, communicative, kind, clean and courteous and do everything in my power to make sure your time away from home is a smooth transition- and just importantly- a vacation for the furry members of your family.
