I am a young working professional based at home due to the COVID pandemic. I have been surrounded by animals since birth, and have never met an animal I didn't love, personally owning and caring for two dogs, one cat, two rats, and one hamster over the years. Currently I only have one lazy and laid-back senior cat. My cat, Faraday, gets along well with other dogs and cats, but I am able to keep him in a separate space if your pet is not cat-friendly. I have intermediate-level experience with training dogs and cats. I have trained my cat to come, sit, hop up (onto a higher surface), and walk on a leash-- and who knows? After spending a few days with me, your pet might come home with a new trick himself! Finally, I specialize in caring for special-needs animals, including animals with behavioral problems and those with medical issues. I have the time and flexibility to attend to higher-maintenance pets, can administer shots, and can successfully administer pills to the most stubborn pets. In addition to my personal pet care experience, I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters over the years. I have cleaned cages, fed cats and dogs, and walked dogs, and assisted staff in socialization and training. I have also pet-sit for family and friends.
