Hello! If you're looking for a responsible and dependable adult that absolutely adores animals to care for your furbaby as if they are their own, look no further! I am available to care for your dog(s) and/or cat(s) for drop-ins, walks, playtime, feeding, cleanup, etc. in your home any time of day weekends and/or weekday evenings. My pet care services are on an as-needed basis while you're out of town, working late, or away from home. I always send clients a Rover Card to include pet photos and a summary after each visit! Additionally, I'll help with other duties upon request while you're away to include getting mail, dumping trash, washing pet dishes, cleaning pet accessories, and watering plants. A little about me....I recently moved to New Kent Co. with my husband. I've worked FT in public education for 17 years. We owned a basset-beagle dog, Shiloh, who sadly passed away in July 2022. I also owned a cat, Maddie, for several years until she passed away a few years ago. I'm very fond of dogs and cats and have much experience caring for both. Additionally, I've grown up with dogs and cats during childhood, so have had the responsibility of caring for them on a regular basis for over 35 years. I've also helped roommates care for their dogs over the years. In addition, I previously volunteered with the the local animal shelter prior to moving to this area. I absolutely love caring for homeless animals. As a volunteer, I walked dogs, played with cats, and assisted with animal handling at adoption events. I recently completed the online "Fear Free Shelter" training and earned a certificate. My heart is huge for animals who need love and affection! Any questions, feel free to ask.
