Pet care experience
I've had cats or dogs pretty much my whole life. If your fur-baby loves to snuggle and play and go where I go, then I'm the right choice! I’ll treat them like my own! I live in DeForest and have a yard for potty breaks and lots of neighborhood to explore on walks, including a park. I'm also within minutes of the dog park at Token Creek! My partner Matt and I also live with my adult son and my teenage daughter who is with me 50%. Both have lots of experience with dogs and cats and love animals. We have a cat, Ragnar, who is very chill and welcomes any new friend, furry or not. He’ll even snuggle with them if they’ll let him. Our other cat Rocko is playful and fun and likes dogs as long as they are chill and don’t chase him. We recently had to say goodbye to our baby girl, Sophie, who was an elderly west highland terrier. We miss her a lot!

We are a laid back family and love spending time at home with our fur babies, snuggling, playing games and spending time outside. We have a separate “lounge” for our cats to escape to where they have their litter box and food and their kitty tree. Pups stay in our main area with us or down in our art studio while we work. If we go visit family, pups come with or can be crated or left to lounge at home.

I prefer smaller dogs at this time as they are less threatening to our cat Rocko-he just doesn’t care for larger dogs. I'd like to understand their temperament and energy level. Are there any special activities he/she likes to do? Any special types of toys he/she prefers? Treats or foods he/she likes? What is her/his "I need to go potty" signal?
A typical day
We have trails and a park close by. I'm minutes from the Token Creek dog park. If your dog loves to travel and run errands, he/she can tag along wherever I go! At home we play with toys, practice tricks, and have lots of snuggles.
