I have a lot of experience with caring for dogs. I have volunteered with multiple Humane Society locations and two other animal shelters. My experience with this started when I was 13 years old, so I have 9 years of experience. I have also done dog sitting jobs on the side when neighbors and friends have gone away on vacation. The shelters I volunteered at required me to go through training on how to handle different situations with dogs so I understand the mind of the dog and how to handle tough situations. Some responsibilities I had included feeding, walking/exercising/playing with the dogs, cleaning kennels, and administering medication. Upon meeting a new dog, I like to let them warm up to me and be comfortable with me at their own pace. *NOTE: I do work during the day Monday-Friday so availability is limited to the evenings. I am available any time on weekends unless otherwise noted on my calendar*
