Looking for four-legged friends
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Erin. I’m a PR professional by day & full-time pet lover. I recently lived with a 100-lb German Shepard service dog, so big dogs will always have a special place in my heart. I also grew up with my now-19-year-old cat, so old or young, big or small, cat or dog, I’m ready to take care of your furry friend. Throughout college I was a member of the club Guiding Eyes for the Blind, so I’m very familiar with dog care and training. I attended weekly puppy classes where I learned the do’s and dont’s of proper handling of dogs and learned how to have mutual respect with animals. I love to take walks (especially around Green Lake) and would love to have a furry companion to keep me company. I promise I’ll take good care of your pal!
Reviews
Erin was so attentive to my sweet wee guy. She took the time to get to know him and his routine, keeping to it to avoid any additional stress. She took him on adventures and played with him. She was calm with him, and helped me to know that my wee fella was in such great hands!
As the Vice President of Ithaca College’s chapter of Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization dedicated to raising and training future guide dogs, I can assure Rover that Erin D. is fit to be an exceptional dog caregiver. Erin served as an active general body member for our club for about a year, learning training techniques and observing weekly obedience classes. During her time as a general body member, I witnessed Erin’s knowledge of dog handling grow immensely. She continually demonstrated her ability to handle, play with, and care for dogs effectively. I highly recommend Erin as a dog caregiver for Rover as she will offer prior dog handling knowledge and lots of love to each and every dog she sits!

Safety, trust & environment
I have two cats of my own and have gone through all the check boxes to ensure my home is perfect for them. I’m confident around animals and able to be stern, but love to shower them with attention above all.
Information Erin D. would like to know about your pet
Things to know: • age • breed • friendliness to other animals/strangers • sleeping arrangements I am not picky on breed type. Just warn me if there’s a chance your animal will be aggressive toward other animal smells.
A typical day
I live on the Burke Gilman trail, which makes walking around my neighborhood easy! If I’m coming to you, I can easily transport your pup to a park, trail, or off leash area in your comfort zone. I’m fairly familiar with most of the Seattle neighborhoods as I’ve lived in quite a few myself, so I’m comfortable taking walks in your part of the ‘hood as well.
Services

Availability
I am a remote worker and a part-time, on site student. I leave for class at 4 pm on weekdays, but I am fully available during the workday to care for your pets! If staying overnight, your animal would have to be okay alone between 4-10 pm.
