Let me help keep your pet comfortable and remove your worries while you are away:) Overnight stays consist of 10 to 12 hours of overnight time with your pet, with morning and evening time together. A midday visit can be arranged as well! I love to play, run, and have fun with your pet so that they feel relaxed and comfortable during your time away from them. I also practice scientifically backed techniques to reduce anxiety and stress with your pet! I have experience as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician, so I understand how important quality care is! I am also very knowledgeable of pet CPR and first aid if necessary. I am aware that some pets may show fear or aggression during their stay, but I understand that the aggression is stemming from a place of fear, and I will take all the time needed to make sure your pet is comfortable! I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology and Biology at the University of South Carolina Upstate! I am very knowledgeable of different care techniques for a multitude of breeds and understand that pets may have dietary restrictions, require medications, and require different levels of activity and play. I personally love being in nature, and I am extremely passionate about environmental and conservation issues. I also have an expanding knowledge and first hand experience dealing with pets that have anxiety and food aggression . I have personally cared for several types of animals, including dogs, cats, a variety of mammals, lizards, bearded dragons, and fish. I also have experience with snakes, amphibians, and other reptiles. I am human to an amazing pack of dogs named Percy & Mia. I am also mama to my beautiful 7 month old daughter who adores dogs and cats! I love to snuggle, but understand that some animals prefer space and want to make your pet as comfortable as possible at all times. I also want to relieve your stress while you are away by knowing that your pet is being taken care with superior care. A stress free pet is the happiest pet of all :) My experience administering medication I have administered liquid, pill, and capsule medication to animals multiple times and I am comfortable with the process and reducing the stress of the experience. I also have experience giving subcutaneous fluids to a variety of animals, including small mammals.
