My entire life my family raised the following animals: dogs, cats, horses, turtles, fish, frogs and chickens. Everywhere I've moved after high school I've lived with a dog. Dogs bring me IMMENSE joy, and I love petting them. One of my mates told me I have an affinity to dogs. To me, that is an incredible compliment. I think why I stand out with such care is because I have a heart for dogs, and really try to relate to them and give them the attention they're yearning. While living in Pittsburgh, I worked for a company where I would drive to client's homes to care for their animals. Also, I would walk a few dogs during the week. Not only was it great for the dogs, but it also got me exercising and in fresh air (regardless of the weather - we always went for a walk). I'm very generous with my pets and try to give love where the dogs like it most.
