Confidence & Consistency
Pet care experience
I have been involved in fostering and training dogs for communities for the past 12 years. I have high expectations of my dogs and this includes allowing others into the household. I believe that our dogs need confident direction to reach their potential as great family members and this should be upheld when they are in the care of someone else. It is important for out pets to feel safe even when they are without us. This includes having their own space, in a space that may not be theirs, good exercise, and lots of love and personal attention. An owner needs to feel confident in the person they are leaving their beloved pet with no matter for how little, or much time. Some dogs simply do not do well in kennel situations and an owner should not feel guilty needing a safe haven for their dog while they are away, or for needing exercising or training help. I have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, as well as from all sorts of different backgrounds. I bring these experiences into every situation so that I can give the most individual attention to each dog.
Reviews
Erin is awesome! Taz and Ty are so lucky to have her to spend time with when we are out all day. She left a detailed report after her drop in visits and also sent a picture which really takes the worry out of being away from home. Erin accommodated our schedule, is very competent and we definitely intend to use her services in the future.
Erin is exceptional with dogs. She was our dogs "teacher" and was very instrumental in not only teaching Tilley, bit also in educating us in how to handle a very smart, but stubborn Border Collie \ Australian Shepherd mix. Erin is very knowledgeable about the many dog breeds and how each individual breed requires a different approach for the best response. We have recommended Erin to others for training and we would trust Erin to care for Tilley, feeling confident that she would be in the best hands ever!

Information Erin C. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know if there are things that the dog is allergic to and what the protocol is. It is also important to know likes and dislikes of the dog as well as the routines that make the feel secure.
A typical day
My dogs and I love to hike. Many times we just hike around the neighborhood as well as local parks and State Parks. Sometimes this includes a stop at the pet friendly stores. Any dog in my care would get both individual attention, care, and outings as well as as much group time that can be tolerated. Not all animals love group experiences and any dog in my care will get priority for outings and activities.

I work a night shift schedule and am also very flexible as I'm only obligated three days a week. My pups are not alone in my house more than a couple hours a day and my life revolves around animals so incorporating others into my routines is second nature to me.
