Pet care experience
I have been in love with dogs since before I could talk. Dog was my third word!!! I've been doing foster care with a rescue group for 8 years, and have experience with behaviors and breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs. My senior terrier mix named Charlie passed away on Labor Day 2023. I don’t have the heart to take him off here just yet. I currently am fostering a senior chihuahua. My Charlie had a spinal injury, so he used a doggie wheelchair and I had to express his bladder. I would be willing to assist any special needs dogs with these types issues that visited our home. I work from home as well. Doggies will sleep with me (their choice) and lounge on couches. We live directly across the street from Loring Park, so the dogs will enjoy daily walks around the park. The doggies that would do best in our home with our dogs would be: Small dogs (up to 30 lbs) Large dogs who do not need to play ( my foster dog is old and doesn’t appreciate large dogs trying to play with him) Dogs who won’t bark too much if i have To leave. Dogs that like, or are indifferent to, other dogs Dogs that don’t mind doing their business on a leash Dogs that don’t mind a city environment (lots of people, dogs, noise) and who don’t have leash reactivity. (There are tons of dogs in this area) Dogs that don’t mind elevators (or who will at least get in one) Dogs that don’t have too much leash reactivity to other dogs, people, large trucks, bicycles, etc. there’s a lot of that over here and we just want to keep everyone safe! Right now I woukd need to bring my foster dog with on housesitting assignments. We want this experience to be good for everyone! I dog sit for all my friends, and their pups love coming over. I hope yours will too!
Reviews
It's always a good sign when the pups are happy to see you, and also sad to see Erin go. Erin always takes wonderful care of my pups and they are always sad to see her go!
Erin was super patient and understanding of our Alfalfa’s fear of strangers. I would highly recommend her for drop in visits for both cats and dogs of all sizes.
Erin was great at communicating, updating, and took fantastic care of my dog! I’d love to work with her again in the future.
Erin did a great job sending updates and photos, which were much appreciated. I came home to happy pups!!!

I only typically take one dog at a time and will try to mirror their routine as much as possible. I don’t crate dogs that don’t need it, but definitely can if that’s what a dog is used to doing.

Information Erin B. would like to know about your pet
My building has Breed restrictions include but are not limited to: Akita, Husky, Chow, Pit Bull, Doberman Pinscher, Presa Canario, Elkhound, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, St. Bernard, Great Dane, Wolf Breeds. I am Not comfortable using a shock collar. Since it’s an apartment, and i don’t own it, it’s important the dog is potty trained. It’s fine if they have an accident (most do at first) i just can’t have a dog peeing on the carpet a lot. If your dog doesn’t like meeting dogs on a leash this is important to know as many dog owners in my area will just walk up to other dog owners so it’s important i know prior so can ask people to keep their distance.
A typical day
We will walk around Loring Park everyday. There are tons of trees and dog smells to smell, squirrels and other animals to look at, people and dogs to meet (if your dog is up to it)
Services
Erin can host
Erin can watch in your home
Availability
I work from home. We typically take a long walk in the morning around 9-10am and after I’m done working at around 4pm. We go out for a short potty walk before bed around 10-11pm.
