I love spending time with animals! Making dogs happy is everything. I am a home and pet owner who understands the importance of stellar pet care. It's critical to trust the person coming into your home and walking your dogs. I love receiving pics and updates about my pets when I'm away- so I always make sure to do that for my clients. I have always had pets- right now I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have experience with all ages and all sizes, from puppies who are being housebroken to elderly dogs in diapers. I really have a special place in my heart for elderly animals. I am comfortable giving medication, whether it's pills or injections, and care-taking sick or handicapped pets. I am very happy to care for cats and other animals as well. I also understand cat's needs and behavior (as best as anyone can!) I have been pet sitting for my neighbors, friends and family for most of my life. I have been professionally house sitting for over 10 years. I am extremely conscientious, reliable, and trustworthy. I have worked as a trained professional dog walker. I have volunteered in animal shelters and at a farm sanctuary. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy being active outside in all weather. My goal is to make the day brighter for your pet! I have a flexible schedule and am able to accommodate most requests. I am currently working part time and often from home. It's easy for me to get around quickly in my car. I care for pets in your home, where your pet is most comfortable. I am very aware that most animals need to acclimate to someone before trusting them. I prefer to meet your pet first with you there so that they know I am a trusted friend. I have a very calm and comforting demeanor and will let your pet get to know me, allowing them the time and space they need, and offering the appropriate energy level. This is especially important with rescue animals or elderly pets who may not see or hear very well, and be nervous around someone new. Once we are buddies, I give all that I can for them to have a good time! Depending on the visit, we might go for a walk and check out the hood, play some stimulating games, get a good petting or brushing, talk about the day, have a good cuddle, and of course eat!
