Hi, my name is Erika. I use to be on rover and definitely enjoyed it. I had to take time away do to having a baby, I needed her to have time to get a little older, I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. Dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family as well. Having 3 dogs myself, I completely understand how hard it is to find a trustworthy person or the right place to watch your dog when you have trip planned. I work from home and have a finished basement that has a doggie door that goes into a privacy fenced in area. So your dog would feel like he was staying at his little own Airbnb. I do have 3 dogs. Since then one of my dogs passed away, but she was an older dog that has been dealing hip issues her whole life. It has given me plenty of experience with hip dysplasia, also caring for animals that have had surgery. I have had plenty of experience with administering meds for animals that require daily meds or required to eat a special diet. Also Having 2 huskies has also taught me how to manage any dog that tries to escape or jump fences. I also have a English Cream Retriever and she is the happiest most submissive dog. So as long a your fur baby is pet friendly, they will definitely have a friend to play with. I can assure you, your dog will feel at home. I look forward to hosting and pampering your dog.

Erika was absolutely amazing. She did a wonderful job hosting our dog over the Christmas holiday and was very good to communicate with photos and videos. Her property is very conducive to letting a dog safely run and play. We would highly recommend her for dog sitting and will definitely use her again when we are back in town.
Erica was wonderful. She kept us updated about our Molly, she sent us pictures daily. She treated Molly like if she was her own. Molly loved the fenced in yard. Erica is great and we will use her again.
Erika was amazing! She boarded my Husky and Doberman puppy, who was still recovering from being spayed. Im always nervous about leaving them with strangers, but she was so friendly and gave me multiple updates throughout the day. They had plenty of space inside and out. I recommend her! I'll be taking my dogs to her when going out of town from now on!

I have a finished basement that your dog will have access to a doggie door that will go out into a privacy fenced in area. they can go outside as they please and lay in the sun, or come in the cool house to cuddle up on the couch. They will be able to make themselves at home by being able to come and go freely. I do have separate fenced in area that gives my dogs access to go in and out from the upstairs. I also have dog crates if you prefer your dog to be crated. The doggie door can also be shut if your dog requires leash walks, or needs to be watched when outside due to digging out of fenced in areas.

Feel free to come by before and see the place, and bring your dog to check it out. My main thing is I need them to be kid friendly. My kids do not bother dogs (bc they have grown up around them) but if we are outside playing I want you pup to be able to hang too :)
A typical day
Since I am a stay at home, I normally wake up around 6 Am to get kids ready for school and feed animals. Then I spend a lot of time in the yard especially if the weather is nice. I am at home most of the time, unless I am running errands or taking my daughter to practice. So you doggy will always have someone around. I live in an area that I can take your dog on a hike Or plenty of creeks to play in if they enjoy the water. I also have a very large separate fenced in area that they can play in. So your pup will not even feel like you’re gone or trapped. They will get to have a blast.

I currently work from home. So I will always be at the house to keep your sweet animals company and make sure they get lots of love and attention. As well as give medication if needed.
