Hi! I’m super excited to offer my experience in keeping your pup happy and entertained when you are not able to. I have many years of experience with owning my own and caring for my own dogs as well as dogs for others before becoming a sitter for Rover. My dogs frequently travel with me and are highly sociable with all ages and breeds of other dogs and are very accepting. My family raised German Shepherds when I was younger and I’ve always had multiple dogs that I spent countless hours playing with. I worked on a farm and training horses and overseeing their care for over ten years previously and this has made me acutely aware of things that are “off” or behavioral changes as well as being the one continuing out patient medical care for the duration of treatment in several kinds of animals. I’m fortunate that I’m able to carry that over to my own critters. While I find it to be a valuable experience, I find preventative care in a safe environment while keeping them happy is a better route. I own and have extensive horse experience as well if you need drop in care for your own equines (and other farm animals) while you are away I’m always up for providing owners peace of mind that their larger four legged friends will be well looked after.
