Pet care experience
My goal for your dog while they are staying is for her to feel safe and comfortable. I am able to work with the routine your dog currently has and hopefully make her stay with me feel comfortable but also like a vacation. I’ve had my own dogs for over 15 years and understand how unique and special each one is. I’ve cared for senior dogs and most recently a puppy.

I have known Erika for 8 years and have always known her to be caring, loving and kind to all animals! She has been wonderful to her own dogs and cats - she takes them on amazing adventures like camps, hikes, walks and playtime. She knows their individual needs and is able to cater to them. I have brought my pets to her before and she has treated them like their own. I think she would be a wonderful and responsible caregiver to all fur babies. They will come home feeling so loved and having had a blast!
I've known Erika personally for 16 years and was always excited to have her host my dog Dale. She welcomed him to her pack and included him in all of their adventures sharing photos and videos along the way. Having also hosted her pet in the past, I can confirm that she's an exceptionally responsible pet owner herself as Shammy was always well behaved. I can't recommend Erika as a host enough.

I have a 1 1/2 year old Labrador retriever who is extremely friendly and would love the company of another dog. I also have a cat. I have a fully fenced backyard for the dogs to play, relax in the sun and for easy bathroom breaks. I’d like to work with you to customize a plan for your dog’s care while she is staying with me

A typical day
After breakfast we go for a neighborhood walk. Following the walk, it’s nap time. At lunch we go for another walk to the park and play fetch or meet some other dogs and people. Then it’s time for another nap. Before dinner, we play in the yard or if it’s a hot summer day go for a swim.

Availability
I work from home during the week so your dog will have company. Depending on your dog’s exercise requirements, I am able to walk your dog before and after work and at lunch. On the weekends, I usually plan an outing such as a hiking, swimming, or visiting a local park.
