With my experience taking care of children of all ages, I understand that dogs need some of the same qualities in a caregiver. Someone who give them plenty of attention, some who will join them in play time, and learn what their food regime is. Making sure that a dog gets everything he or she needs is what I would be there to offer and provide a dog owner. Having been a nanny & caregiver I know that parents and families want someone to care for their dogs like they were their own family. I always have the dogs best interest at heart and want to work with you in giving them the best experience/environment as possible so don’t be afraid to communicate concerns! :)

Information Erika T. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog has any food restrictions, allergies or medication that they take. I would also like to know if they have any “triggers” or things that make them uncomfortable (e.g. strangers trying to pet them, children getting to close). While I always keep the dog close to me while we are out, I also want to ensure the safety of your dog and others as well.
A typical day
Living walking distance from a park I love going on walks myself so if your dog enjoys that as well, we can have fun in the great outdoors together. I had a little pup a few years ago who was not the outdoors type so instead we would work on mental and physical training indoors or in our spacious backyard. If your dog loves to be around other dogs, I am happy to make the trip to the nearest dog park for some social interaction!
