Pet care experience
I am a certified vet tech. I have worked in the clinic setting for 5 years straight. Prior to that I worked in the clinic setting on and off as well as worked on the family farm. I have farmed all my life. I graduated from Vet Tech school in 2014. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats and am currently building a boarding facility at my house! I am a stay at home so I have all day to spend with your wonderful pets! At this time they stay in our garage in large kennels until we get the boarding building done. But during the day they are always out doing something with me! Mainly kenneled at night. I currently do not have a fenced in yard so if they are runners they get taken out on leashes. Once my boarding facility is done, I will have a fenced in area. I have 2 friendly dogs that love other dogs!

As a fellow rover sitter, I was very impressed with Erika and her set up. Her facility is very clean and temperature controlled. I have a dog with separation anxiety that would escape normal wire kennels and chose a place where he wouldn't be able to destroy someone's home. Erika kept me updated throughout and sent videos to set my own anxieties at ease.
This was our first time using Erika for boarding and we were fully satisfied with the service and communication provided. The booking process was very smooth and straightforward, and she was very responsive. She sent us a video of our two dogs playing outside with the others which was a very nice touch while we were away. We would definitely use her again for future boarding needs.
Erika took amazing care of our greyhounds! Great facilities and communication!

A typical day
I love allowing the dogs to interact with each other and let them play and just be a dog. I also love playing fetch with them. I will take them on walks around town depending on how many I have.

I’m a stay at home, so I am typically home all day with the dogs. Right now I let them out to play and potty about every 1-2 hours. Once the building is done, they will be out more often playing in the fenced in area.
