I know all animals are different, just like us, so let me know if they need special treatment or extra love! Let me know if/how many treats they get, or if you have any special toys for them to play with. My cat passed away last year from kidney disease, so I know first-hand how hard it can be to care for an animal who needs prescription food and daily medication. I’ve always done everything I can to protect the animals I watch for their health and safety.

First, I always check the food and water situation, then refill if necessary. I always play with the animals I watch- whether that be throwing a ball, giving pets and/or treats, or even leaving them alone if that’s what they prefer! I like to make animals feel comfortable around me on their terms. I know it’s stressful when their owners aren’t home and some pets are more anxious than others so I know to give them all of the affection and attention they need.
