Pet care experience
New to rover but have owned dogs for 20 years. Pre-Physical therapy Biology major with a minor in chemistry but work remotely in marketing. I grew up with German Shepards and currently have a 10 year old special needs Jack Russell that I helped recover from paralysis. I love dogs and look after them with the same love & care as my own. I know how to give pills, shots and how to express (bladder) a small female dog.

I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in Erika’s care. He was well cared for. She took him to a dog park & he had a great time.
Erika was very kind, accommodating and flexible. She sent photos of the dogs throughout the night and made the dogs feel welcome and comfortable. I would absolutely contact her again!
Erika is great with pets. She has been caring for her special needs dog since 2016. She nursed her back from paralysis. I'm sure she loves pets more than people, and she's great with them too.
Erika is a truly caring and dedicated pet parent, and overall pet lover. She cares for her own disabled dog, juggling her busy work schedule around accommodating the needs of her pet and finding appropriate care. I would trust her 100% to take good care of my pet, enjoy doing it, and have great stories to share with me about the experience. After working at the ASPCA for many years, I know a true pet lover when I see one and Erika is the real deal.

I have a single family home, no fence, but can take lovely walks with your dog. I have an elevated screened in porch where your dog can safely survey the surrounding woods. Your fur baby will have the company of my small dog, Nugget who is 10yrs old.

We will walk in my neighborhood which is filled with birds and squirrels. On weekends we might go to the dog friendly beach in CT.
