My name is Erika and I'm true dog lover who would love to look after your pups! I live in a spacious studio apartment in the Buckman neighborhood of Portland with close access to Colonel Summers, Laurelhurst and Seawallcrest Parks. I work a short 10 minute drive from my office and have the availability to do regular checkins on weekdays. On the weekends, I can take your dog for long hikes or trips to the park to socialize - or we can just hang out and snuggle if that's more their thing. I've been dogsitting through Rover (previously Dog Vacay) for more than 2 years now and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and pet needs, including elderly, epileptic, and runaway-prone dogs. I've grown up with all different pups - Pug, Shitzu, Westie, Golden Retriever, mutt - and I'm excited to meet many more breeds! I was inspired to join Rover after using the service myself, and I will take care of your dog just like it was my own so you can relax while you travel! I know it can be nerve wracking to be away from your best friend, but I'll keep you updated with lots of pictures and updates until you return.
