Pet care experience
Just relocated from Queen Anne to Kent as of November 2023 and I now have a fully fenced in front and backyard, woohoo!! I have an extremely flexible schedule as I work from home (in the dog fashion business since 2010!). I'm reliable, trustworthy, and most importantly - I LOVE DOGS AND CATS. I also have a lifetime of experience owning both dogs and cats. I've owned large dogs such as Shepherds to small dogs. I understand each pet has its own personality and special needs for walks, health care, and anxiety when away from their owners. You can count on me to take exceptional care of your pets and love them as one of my own. Dog boarding - I now live in a small home with a fully fenced front and back yard with luscious grass. Your dog will be safe with tons of space to roam. And since I work from home, I’m always around and will be letting your dog outside to pee or play as much as he pleases! Inside, he’s allowed on the couches and can watch me work or snuggle with me as he so chooses. I live with my boyfriend who is also a huge animal lover. We currently have 1 senior dog who is very welcoming to other dogs and one baby. For this reason, we can only board dogs who are also dog and child-friendly.

I am so happy to have found Erika — her home is a safe and loving environment for my dog. She has a gentle older dog who really helped my dog feel more comfortable in a new setting. It’s immediately obvious that Erika deeply cares about dogs, and she has a good eye for attention to details that is very reassuring and translates in her being very good at communicating regularly (which is so important). In addition, Erika provides multiple pictures that truly ease my separation anxieties. I have already booked my next appointment with her!

Erika did a wonderful job with my cat of 15 years Razz. Visit updates were always detailed and with pictures, which really helps put you at ease and feel connected to your pet while away. Really fantastic job!

Taking pictures of your pets and sharing them are one of my favorite things so there will be no shortage of updates!

Please let me know if your dog has any separation anxiety issues and if he needs any special attention/care. If he has a favorite toy or bed, I’ll want to make sure I have those for his stay as well.
A typical day
Your pet will be frolicking in the yard with his favorite toy or basking in the sun when it’s nice out. Inside, he’ll be cozy on the couch or his bed and will enjoy treats between meals. He’ll have his pic taken often to send to you for updates. For walks, we will go to nearby parks and anywhere with nice green grass! Please let me know if your dog loves dog parks or prefers leashed walks only. We'll have talks about what a good boy he is and I'll be sure to give him lots of affection.

I work from home and can provide 24/7 care for your pups when they are staying with me. I only take one to two dogs at a time and they will be sure to get my undivided attention!
