I've had dogs since my mom first allowed it and now have decades of experience with family pets including birds, cats, rabbits, turtles, and every type of rodent imaginable. More recently, I cared for my own senior corgi Sydney, and am comfortable with administering medications and the gentle care required with aging pets. For years I have been the go-to caretaker among my friends, taking many active dogs on hikes or just sitting in the park with the older babies. I am also comfortable with cats and can jiggle a string like the best of them (I also often fall prey to the belly rub trap). My home is one-story with a fenced back yard that dogs love for zoomies or laying in the grass. I also have a cat tree and other indoor activities and am very excited by the opportunity for longer-term sits. Whether it's a walk or a sleepover, as a fierce animal lover, I look forward to getting to know new pet friends!
