I have had dogs all my life, have brought them up, trained them, and cared for them in their old age - I feel comfortable with any age group, any size, and am willing/able to follow instructions given for those with special needs. I work at a well known, highly rated veterinary hospital, and am used to being around many different types of dogs. I would also be able consult with a vet in a heartbeat if there was ever a concern for their health. As long as a pet is not aggressive, I am comfortable with any size. I have experience with unaltered females and would have no issues caring for a pet in heat. My schedule at the hospital varies by week. If I accept watching your pet for the day, rest assured it is because I am off and will be home with them the whole day! =) For boarding, I live near my place of work and am able to come home on breaks, so pets would never be alone for more than 3 hours! I live in house with a fully fenced in yard. Because of the size of my home, and because I have a small dog of my own, I cannot take in VERY large dogs for boarding for extended periods of time.
