Play, Train and Love.

Pet care experience

I adopted my husky (Loki) while living in Minnesota. Having loved dogs all my life it was a dream come true. Since he passed, I have been borrowing others' darling fur babies. From rambunctious puppies, special needs, the older but still loving, and everything in between. Give your pup the comfort of staying at home during your vacation, or get an extra walk (or run) in while you're off at work.

Erika has been wonderful to work with. She has been doing drop in visits with our pups and recently stayed with them in our house for over a week while we were on vacation. She checked in with us and sent updates and pics which we really appreciated!

Erika was excellent with Lola! She took her out on a cold day and made sure she had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Erika to anyone looking for a dog walker!

Erika was great!! She responded super quickly to my last minute request, and seemed to do great walking my wild dogs. Would definitely book with her again!

Safety, trust & environment

I stick to the routine given to me by their humans. All food and treats are always pre-approved and any special diets followed. We go for fun activities depending on the individual pup. With one we go for long runs while an older one enjoys our Saturday morning trips to the farmer's market.

Information Erika B. would like to know about your pet

With my personal rescue husky, I learned about a lot of different needs. Loki came to me with very little training, and we worked hard to overcome his anxiety and resource-guarding. Towards the end of his life, he struggled with pain and regressed into old habits. Every dog is unique and needs a personalised approach. Please let me know about any medications, behaviours, fears, etc. I will do everything possible to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

A typical day

A typical day with my regular hyperactive puppy is a few minutes of hello pets, getting kitted out in her harness and running lead. Together we usually run about 4-5kms. Our cooldown is her time for sniffing and potty. Getting home is water and rest time! My older King Cavalier Spaniel is a bit slower-paced. As he is deaf, a walk usually starts with a gentle hello head rub. On Saturdays, we like to take in the local Farmer's Market, where he can say hi to other dogs, sniff new places and gets lots of pets and attention. Other walks are nice easy sniffing walks around the neighbourhood.

I work from home and at a bar with flexible hours. Taking care of a dog has been in my routine for years, just happens to be other people's pets now.
