Pet care experience
I am a certified veterinary assistant with 8 years of experience working at animal hospitals. I watch all pets of shapes and sizes, including barn animals! I also have worked at Pet Valu for over 6 years. I live on a farm property in Madison, Ct and own three bulldogs,a guinea pig, 4 fancy mice, a piebald veiled chameleon, 3 goats, two pigs and 2 newly added chicks! I am also able to give medication and follow any specific instructions your pet may have. I also am able to take them to vet appointments or on hikes or pet stores for treats and socializing. I also will update with picture and videos! I look forward to meeting your fur babies soon! Here at the Red Barn Pet Sitting it’s like a vacation for your pets!

I have a fenced in yard and when pets are not in that area I use a slip lead to make sure of safety. I live on a set back farm property on a dead end small street. It is very quiet.

I make sure I know your dogs normal routine at home, food type, treats they can and cannot have, medications they may need, any special requirements such as assistance up and down stairs, or things that you may know they like or dislike.
A typical day
I have plenty of toys to play with outside and if it is hot out and ok with the owner, the dogs can cool off in kiddie pools! I can also do more structured on leash walks if the dog needs to work on that. We have just under 2 acres and live next to a beautiful park with trails right down the street. There are plenty of things to keep your pet occupied and forget you are away!

I try to follow what your pet is most used to. Their routine is important so we try to follow what they usually do for feeding times and walks, adding plenty of off leash, fenced, play time!
