My family got a dog when I was 5 and I have been obsessed with them ever since! I have learned how to care for and be responsible for pets throughout the years, eventually getting another puppy and experiencing how to raise puppies. I am also comfortable in senior care, and I am a skilled walker as I’ve walked up to 3 big dogs at once! I used to dog sit for neighbors and family friends, even boarding them at my house with my own two dogs. Whether it is one or four dogs I'm looking after, I develop deep connections with the pet and make sure I'm doing all I can to make sure they have a happy life.

I have known Erika for about 7-1/2 years. She cared for 2 of her own dogs, even going through service training with one of them. She has walked and cared for our dog on several occasions. She is responsible, trustworthy, a real animal lover, knowledgeable about dogs, and has great people skills. You and your dogs will be lucky to have her!!
Erika has taken care of my two dogs several times, and she's great with them. They can be a handful, but I never worry when they're with her. She's responsible, has lots of experience with dogs, and everything you could want in a dog sitter or walker!
Erika was 5 when she had her Labrador retriever , Shine. She grew up with Shine , walked , groomed, played and trained Shine. She was with Shine until her last breath after suffering from stroke. Shine passed away at 14 years. Erika also walked , groomed, played and trained our rescue dog , Kuro who joined our family 5 years ago. Erika loves being around animals and has a natural connection with dogs and cats. Over the summer, she worked as a dog sitter. I would leave my dogs with Erika in a heartbeat.

A typical day
I live next to Arroyo park and the UCD arboretum is a short drive away, so scenic walks are definitely something I'm looking forward to. I am also willing to go on runs for high-energy dogs as well. I also love to massage dogs and give them a nice scratch. I am always down to get a puppachino too!

Availability
I am currently a student, but my schedule is pretty flexible and allows me to dedicate time to take a study break and see some dogs! Over veterans day weekend, I found two stray dogs outside my apartment. They were my priority for the next 3 days, as I woke up early each morning to take them out and feed them.
