I am an experienced veterinary technician with 19+ years in the field including advanced certification in Emergency and Critical care. I have had a true love for animals since I was a child. I've also fostered and owned several dogs throughout the years. I can stop in for walks, hikes, play dates, and boredom busters. If you have a high energy dog needing to burn some energy outside I'm your gal. I provide services in both Fort Collins and Steamboat Springs, CO - available most days and weekend nights. I have a small fenced yard with one female 35-40 pound super mutt named Violet . She gets along great with other dogs as long as they are not possessive over toys. I can do meet and greet with my dog prior to any service. If you have special requests I'll do my best to accommodate - including senior care and special needs. Looking forward to meeting your pets!

Erika took excellent care of Lava. They went on a long hike, which Lava loves. Erika was also very flexible and dropped off Lava (so we had extra time at e wine festival).
Ericka was great, before she watched Max, she came over (no charge) for a meet & greet. She loves dogs and took Max on a walk and took great care of him. Max loved her too. Would definitely recommend Ericka.
I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Ericka stepped in on short notice to help with our labradoodle puppy during a hectic week of sick kids, quarantines, and frigid temps. She was punctual, communicative, flexible, and always came from a “place of yes.” Our dog LOVED spending time with her and her dog, Violet. Ericka took Bo on walks, hikes, and to the dog park. He came home well cared-for, happy and tired.

I definitely try to get as much information from owner especially with puppies or older dogs - keeping things consistent. I can care for puppies preferably 6 months or older , I can come hang out with geriatric pups. I am able to provide medical services such glucose checks , medication administration , help with basic training. I try to accommodate each owner / pet to their specific needs.

A typical day
I love hiking and obviously it depends on the dog but can do anything really , come over hang out with senior pets , go for long hikes on trails , neighborhood walks , trails , playing ball. Help with leash training etc
