Pet care experience
I have experience with small dogs and special needs dogs. I had a paralyzed mini Dachshund who needed full time care and I currently own a blind and partially deaf shih tzu. My history with dogs started when I was 5 years old and ever since then, I have had a big heart for all dogs. I understand their needs and I interact with them very well. I also have experience with cats and their special needs. *Fixed dogs only* Your pup would stay in the second or third floor with Stinky the Shih Tzu, who is super calm and sweet. I usually walk Stinky for a good 15 minutes in the morning and 20-30 minutes in the evening. She's not a big fan of walking being a shih tzu, but I do enjoy the outdoors and would love to run/jog at Hermann Park with your dog if they're active enough.

Erick provided loving care for our 17 yr old pup for 2 wks. He came home happy and not traumatized. Erick knows how to give proper care & attention and that was so important to us.
Erick really is an animal lover and has been a loving parent to several dogs of his own in the 6 years I have known him. I have entrusted him to take care of my Chihuahua terrier on occasions when I have been out of town, and my dog has grown to love him. Erick is patient, playful, and most of all, responsible. Highly recommended!

I prefer small and medium sized dogs. All breeds are fine but I have personal experience with Dachshunds and Shih Tzu's. Dogs must be fixed and must be able to get along with my dog. A meetup is necessary before a booking to a ensure your pup is a good match with mine.
A typical day
I frequently run a whole lap at Memorial Park and it would be great to have a running companion. I can also walk your dog around your neighborhood. I have taken my dog to the bark park off Westpark and 610 West, and it's a great park for dogs to roam around leash-free. If your dog likes playing fetch, I can do that with them as well. If your dog wants to relax at home and take it easy, then we can do that too!
