Pet care experience
Dog loving family new to Columbia that have years of experience dog sitting for friends in the past! We have no pets of our own (yet!) but grew up with dogs most of our lives. I work for a legal services company, and my wife is a dietitian that focuses on nutrition and sports performance. We work from home a lot, and we both love to exercise and are very active. With miles of walking trails in our neighborhood and being only 1 mile from Trenholm park, your pet(s) will get plenty of exercise if they need it. Our home features a fully-fenced in private backyard, so we basically have a built-in bark park! We love hosting dogs in our home, but if you and your furry friend would prefer us come to you we are happy to do so. We look forward to meeting you and furry friend soon!

Melissa took such great care of Onyx! Our family had a last minute trip to Tampa and I was scrambling to find someone that I felt comfortable with to watch my 7 month old Shi-Pom mix. A meet and greet was scheduled and I immediately felt at ease when I met Melissa. I also loved her fenced in backyard space and knew that Onyx would enjoy it as well. Melisa communicated throughout my trip and sent pictures. I would not hesitate to book her again.
Erich and Melissa are an amazing pair. We can definitely say our Batman was very happy and enjoyed himself. We highly recommend them. Thank you again for taking great care of our pup!

Any social issues, or triggers to anxiety or fear, daily routines, etc. Prefer hypoallergenic, but open to all breeds except pit bulls, rottweilers, and dobermanns.
A typical day
We have miles of walking trails in our neighborhood where we walk regularly. We have a fully-fenced in backyard, and we only live 1 mile from Trenholm Park, so an intense game of frisby is always a possibility and in the summer time even a swim in the creek!

I work from home and very flexible in my ability to care for dogs. My husbands office is 5 minutes away so we are both home a large part of the day.
