I have passion for people, animals, and building relationships. Originally from the East Coast, I moved here to pursue my dreams as a software engineer. San Francisco is the best place for that because so many restaurants and workplaces are dog friendly! More about me: I cared for dogs all through my childhood and even in college. Growing up, my family always had 2-3 dogs at once (the more the merrier). Maxwell, Gizmo, Capone, Peanut, Poppy, Lola, and my best friend/roommate's pup Iggy in college are the ones I have spent the most time with. I've raised boxers, shih tzus, poodle mixes, shiba inus, and pointer mixes, but my heart has no preference for a single type of dog. As a girl who just moved to the city, I'll make sure to give your dog all the small-town love it needs.

Information Erica Y. would like to know about your pet
I love all dogs and breeds alike. I would like to know about any of the pet's food/medication allergies as well as a specific pee/poo schedule and if the dog has a tendency to chew on things. It's also nice if the owner knows signs signature to the dog that show specific moods (i.e. my dog used to wait by the door when he had to go out, walk with his head particularly low when he was sick, and wiggle his back on the floor when he was extremely excited).
A typical day
Glen Canyon Park is very close by - which means we are not too far from a morning or evening of walks and playing fetch! I also love cuddling on the couch while coding and taking lots of short breaks to play in between.

Availability
I currently work from home in the Glen Park area and have access to some great dog-walking spots, including a Glen Canyon Park. I generally wake up around 8am and have a flexible schedule throughout the day. Going for dog walks or drop-ins is the perfect way to make sure I get meaningful breaks in.
