caring & well-versed pet caretaker!
Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs since my family started fostering them when I was just 7 years old! We have seen over 250 dogs adopted through our household alone, and through this I have gained invaluable experience. I have since pet-sat a hundred times, so I am very familiar with and adept at adapting to any situation. I would love to help take care of your furry (or not furry) friends! I have extensive experience and knowledge in taking care of dogs, puppies, cats, and fish, but I am also willing to take care of any other pets you have!
Reviews
Erica's really great to my pups, gentle and patient ever with my crazy 10 month old pup. She's responsive and receptive to last minute changes and communicates well before and after each visit! Bonus for the great pictures she gets of my critters ! (-:
I wish that I can give Erica a positive review but I have to be honest when I would work a 12 hour shift and I would come home. I would feel very stressed out from things I noticed in her drop in visit . For one, she raised the volume of the TV, which is too loud for my dog. It wasn’t extremely loud, but too loud for my dog. Also, the door to my bedroom was open. She claimed the dog opened it. Also, one time I called her, her friend answer the phone and pranked me which is very unprofessional. I wanted to tip her and rehire her but I cannot recommend her at all. She did take care of my dog and take pictures . However, what good is it when you come home and you’re stressed out for hours worrying about what happened in the time she was in your home? So, for that I cannot recommend her.
Erica did an excellent job. She came by for the initial visit and was flexible with the time as my schedule was super busy. I wasn’t super worried about getting photos but she took a bunch anyway. They’re probably better quality photos than the ones I’ve taken of them! Nothing but good things to say. I will be using her again in the future.
She did a great job watching my dog while on a 4 day trip!

Safety, trust & environment
I will always approach pets with caution or let them come to me first to make sure I don’t startle or scare them. I have always and will always be diligent in pet safety, such as checking the fit of any harness or leash if they are going into an un-gated area. I also have experience with short-tempered dogs and always do my best to remove them from potentially hazardous situations before anything happens. I have my own car to get to and from places, so transportation will never be an issue. I hope I can be a good fit for your pet care needs!
Information Erica W. would like to know about your pet
I like to initially setup a meet and greet with you and your pets to make sure I can get in without any issues and so you can point out where you keep their food, leash, litter boxes, and anything else I might need to know. A meet and greet also helps your pet familiarize themselves with me while you are there so that they aren’t as nervous when I arrive for the first time alone. It’s important to note any medical issues, their temperament, energy levels, and any other quirks your pets may have.
A typical day
I love engaging high-energy dogs and cats during playtime by running around and throwing or playing with toys, or giving low-energy pets some good love and petting time. If there is a dog park in the area, I’m more than happy to take your dog there for some solid playtime.
