Hello there! During the school year, I teach Kindergarten Music in Redmond, Oregon. In my spare time, I enjoy focusing on my second love - dogs! I’ve spent many years of my life working with dogs that I or my family have taken into our home. Our current dog, Nia, has been our greatest challenge - but also has given some valuable experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world. She is ‘stranger reactive’, meaning she reacts very intensely to the sight of people she does not know. Due to this, I’ve gotten extensive experience with the BAT (behavior adjustment training) method for fear aggressive/reactive dogs and have gotten very in tune with dog body language. She has helped me to truly understand dogs, their behavior, and most importantly, their needs for happiness! I am available any day of the week and at any time, aside from a few travel dates that are already in the works (check my calendar!). I would love to come to your home and give walks or do drop ins as much as you like! However, due to my special pup at home and her specific needs, I cannot welcome dogs into my house at this time.
