Pet care experience
Hello! I am a newly licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy whose compassion and love for serving humans extends to dogs of all shapes and sizes :). I do not own a pupp of my own (yet!); however, I grew up with Golden Retrievers and currently have a 4-year old little golden brother to love on each time I visit home. I am also the aunt to 5 rescue dogs that I love with all of my heart. My favorite doggie nephew (don't tell the others!) is a pitbull mix whom I lived with for 5 years. I also have 3 years of experience dog sitting a lhasa apso named Sophie in her owner’s home overnight. I live in a 711 square foot apartment with carpet, an open patio, and a fenced dog park. I exercise daily and would love to take your pet on a walk or run if he or she would like. If not, I am more than happy to stay home with your pet and catch up on episodes The Office and Law and Order: SVU :P. If your pet ever needs to take a ride with me (to the park or to the vet should the need arise), we will be in a 2010 Hyundai Elantra. I have a barrier between the front and back seats so that your pet stays safe in the back. I also ask that you bring your pet’s crate with him or her during stays at my apartment (if you own one) as this is the safest way for dogs to travel in a vehicle. When our time together has ended, your pet will be sent home with a homemade dog treat (should their diet allow it)! I will do my absolute best to customize your pet's experience and make accommodations so that your pet feels at home. Your pet is my priority! Erica has a loving heart and the kindest soul, which is exactly what we look for when we need care for our fur babies when we have to leave them. I never worried about my pup when she was in Erica’s care because I knew Erica would treat her like her own. She’s dependable, has great communication (huge for me), and even sent me pictures while we were gone which is always a nice bonus. I would hire her again in a heart beat.
Erica is great with all four of my babies! Our alpha dog, Jensen, can be a little rowdy, but Erica knows how to assert herself as the pack leader when needed. All four of my dogs are large bread, ages 2-9 years old. I have no worries when I leave them with Erica. She follows all of my instructions and I can tell my kiddos love her!

I live ~1 mile away from J Blanchard Park which is the perfect place for walks and/ or runs with your pet! I also have a dog park in my apartment complex for potty breaks when needed.
