Hi! My name is Erica and I am a total animal lover. I've been vegan for over a decade and caring for animals my entire life. I meet dogs where they’re at whether that means a leisurely walk or even a jog. Either way, I ensure they get lots of love. I volunteer with the Animal Pad and SD Humane Society and have experience with dogs/cats of all backgrounds. I also have had both dogs and cats as my furry family for my entire life. I’m very comfortable with pilling, injections, flea bathes, bottle feeding - you name it , I’ve done it!

Erica watched our 1 year old German shepherd while we were on vacation. She did a wonderful job!! Sent us updates multiple times per day and lots of pictures. We have an energetic pup and she took him on lots of walks and had lots of playtime. He was a happy and tired boy when we returned. We will definitely work with Erica again!!
Erica was nothing short of excellent! She gave us real peace of mind knowing our dog was in safe and trustworthy hands during our trip. Was wonderful for our dog not to be stressed, and having the ability to have Erica stay in our apartment worked out perfectly. Would highly recommend her service!
Erica was very communicative and thorough, followed instructions perfectly, and was very flexible with how to feed my dog (who was being super picky about food this week.) We also found out that she had actually met Yaya in her past life volunteering at The Animal Pad before we adopted her. We just came home to a happy doggo, a lovely note from Erica, and even a new little toy for Yaya! Thanks Erica!
I had the pleasure of having Erica dog sit my Mia for the past year. Erica has always been punctual, attentive, caring, and loving not only my Mia but my cat Chester. The animals absolutely LOVE her. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to hire Erica to watch their beloved animals.

Let me know if your dog requires special attention ie is reactive, anxious walker etc. I usually ask for a 5 minute walk with mom/dad during the first session to make sure we both feel comfortable.
A typical day
I like to meet dogs where they’re at. If they want to talk a leisurely walk around the park, go to an enclosed park to play fetch, or watch the sunset lol whatever they want to do on their walk, it is their walk! I will follow suit.

I work from home full time and have a pretty flexible schedule. I can almost always accommodate walks or home visits as needed. I’m available morning, noon and evening.
