I came home to a dog when I was born, and dogs have been part of my household and life ever since. I have experience caring for dogs, cats and rodents of all breeds and activity levels, both my own and in shelters through volunteer work. I’m active and a safe dog walker. I’m also attentive to your pet’s needs throughout our time together. I love working for Rover because I care about you and your pet(s). I truly value the connections I have made with clients and their dogs and cats. Walking and taking care of your furry friends is something I’m passionate about! I almost always bring my partner, Fiona, along for sitting for safety and to provide some extra attention to pets. Please let me know if you’re not comfortable with this, and Fiona would love to tag along for meet and greets! I love paying attention to the little things while you’re away. If there’s any chores you’d like me to help with during a stay, let me know! We can add it for a small charge. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your pet!

Erica is our go-to! She sends plenty of updates and photos so we felt very comfortable leaving our pup with her for a few days. They went on at least one good walk a day, and Riley seemed so at home when we came by to pick her up! We couldn’t have asked for anybody better.
Erica was fantastic! We have two old dogs and a kitty cat that were so sad to see her leave. One of our dogs is diabetic and Erica was a pro at administering her two daily insulin shots. The house was nice and clean when we returned from our week long trip AND the sheets and towels had been washed. She sent photos throughout the week which made us feel at ease with our travels. We had a last minute event and booked Erica to do a house visit to check in on Riley. They went on a little walk and she fed her, and updated us with some great photos along the way! This was our first time using Rover and Erica walked me through the process and made it really easy and comfortable.
Erica and Fiona did a great job taking care of Kepler--we got regular updates and photos, plus they were very thoughtful and considerate re: keeping the house neat and organized. Highly recommended!

For walks and drop-ins, I like to know about how to safely access your home and pet, as well as vet info and emergency contacts. Please inform me of any behavioral quirks or triggers that your dog may have, as well as allergies, etc. I will walk your dog with your collar/harness and leash. Using Rover, I’ll be able to track walks, including pees/poops and any water or food intake. Keeping your pet and home safe is my priority! For sitting, I like to know all the above information, as well as all feeding details, preferred potty break/exercise frequency, and bedtime routines.

I have no breed preference, but I’d like to know if you’re training your dog anything that I can help reinforce, such as no jumping on furniture, sitting for treats, etc.
A typical day
I can go on walks in my/your neighborhood as well as take your baby to the dog park. I’m not a great runner but I’m athletic, so I can do short bursts of running on walks with your active dog. I’m not afraid of long fetch sessions or slimy tennis balls, and I’m happy to play with your dog for hours on end.

Availability
Currently, because I work full-time, I prefer only to book walks and drop-ins. I typically work until about 2:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I work until 4:00 on Thursdays, and until 1:00 on Fridays. I am usually free on weekends. Please only request walks or drop-ins outside of my working hours. Thank you!
