Hi! My name is Erica. I was a zookeeper for 6 years and am now a stay at home mom who would love to help out the pet parents in my community. I have experience with animal handling, crisis management, administering medications, and can handle multiple animals at a time. I grew up having dogs and taking care of neighborhood dogs as well. In addition, I have 6 years experience working with farm animals as well as several exotic species. I know the importance of keeping animals stimulated, happy, active, and healthy.

Erica has had a love for animals from the time she was a little girl. Growing up with the dogs, she learned patience & responsibility. She continued caring for animals after college as a zookeeper at the Beardsley Zoo in Connecticut. I’m confident she’ll make an excellent employee by doing what she loves.
Erica has always had an affinity for animals. She turned her love for and knowledge of animals into a career as a zookeeper where she cared for all kinds of animals. When we needed someone to care for, walk or stay with our dogs, there was no question that it would be Erica. Her love for animals shows in all her interactions with them. She is naturally caring and knows what they need when they need it. Erica treated our animals as if they were her own. What more could anyone ask for when they need to leave their pets in someone else’s care? Erica’s natural talents with animals would be an asset to any animal care organization!

Availability
I have access to child care in the late mornings/early afternoons if given a days notice and my husband is home by 3pm on weekdays so I am available for late afternoons and evenings as well.
