Pet care experience
I raised my shitzu/yorkie mix, who is now eight years old. I have 2 cats as well, ages 6 and 4. I have had anything from birds to iguanas as pets. I don't look at them like animals, they are children to me that deserve love and affection like a human. I don't believe in physical discipline. If the animal does something wrong, just move on. It's not like a child you can communicate with and explain what they did was wrong and have them understand. I've been an animal lover growing up, and not afraid of any type of animal. As long as the pet gets taken care of properly, you are golden. I will make sure to treat your pet as if it was my own; nothing but the best. I can't wait to meet you and your child :)

Couldn't of asked for a better experience with our first time with Erica and our girl Addie. I was updated everyday multiple times with pictures and kept at ease that she was being well taken care of. So thankful we found Erica!
Initial meet and greet was great. Erica communicated well and our dog loved her. We had high expectations for Erica's stay with Rizzo. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. We understand that people have jobs and that our dog can't be watched every second. During Erica's stay we always had to check in on how things were. I received one picture while we were away. From our meet and greet and from previous reviews we had expectations of getting updates and photos often. Our dog is our child and we expect him to be well taken care of and stayed with longer than just a few minutes.
Erica did a great job with Harvey! She checked in every day with pictures and was very responsive to questions. She even took him to work with her. I would recommend her to anyone :)
Erica is the most responsible person I know and have on many occasion left my dogs in her care. Everytime I have leave my dogs with her I have piece of mind knowing they are being well taken care of. I haven't found anyone nearly as qualified for the job as her and even though one of my dogs has special needs Erica was able to accommodate them.

My pets are all indoor animals. They only go outside for walks/restroom. If on a walk and another dog is in near sight, moving to the other side of the street is the safest for both animals.

I would like to learn about the dog’s schedule, life style, personality, likes/dislikes. Just like humans, animals have their quirks. In order to properly care for any animal, I feel it’s best to get to know them and their needs, so they are taken care of to the best of my ability.
A typical day
I like to keep things interesting when it comes to walks. Dogs are smart so they'll know if they're going on the same trail over and over. Even if it's just a short walk, going somewhere different each time makes the walk more exciting for the dog since it's somewhere they haven't been before.

Availability
I work in the mornings. Usually off by 2pm and have evenings free. I am very active with the gym and family life, it also would love to make time for new fur babies.
