I have two beloved cats who each have very different personalities. They were both rescues I adopted as adults and one was a foster fail I couldn't bare to part with. I've helped find another young cat I fostered her own purrfect forever family. I also have experience giving cats different kinds of medication prescribed by the vet (pills, syringes, ointments, and ear drops) as well as trimming nails. I absolutely adore the unique personality of each cat and respect the sacred boundaries cats assert with those they deign to interact with. I have cat sat for a family I am friends with and their notoriously shy cat would regularly join me on their couch, drooling on me to show her affection. Additionally, I grew up with a yellow lab. I learned from my mom the importance of knowing all his commands and being firm and consistent in expecting him to follow them. With each dog I meet, I make sure to learn what commands they are familiar with. I love a good game of fetch and the joy in a dog's face when they get to go chase after the ball yet again.
