Pet care experience
I have over 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician, experience with obedience & agility training (cat training as well!), grooming (various species and coat lengths!), and caring for multiple pets at a time. My Bachelors degree is in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science, and I’ve worked with sheep, cows, horses, goats, and reptiles over the years. I have been the primary caretaker for dogs, cats, & guinea pigs for over 20 years and am comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and any special needs, medical or otherwise! I communicate with animals on their wavelength and prioritize learning their personality and preferences and meeting them where they’re at, making even the shyest pet feel comfortable and safe!

Erica is excellent at communicating with dogs and having them walk in a disciplined yet leisurely manner. She has walked my dogs numerous times and always shows them the proper respect and etiquette it takes to get the job done. I highly recommend her for any and all animal related tasks and she is also quite skilled at cutting their nails and grooming. In all the time I’ve known her, she is patient and considerate of all animals and understands their need to the T.

I’m happy to either care for your fur family in their own space where they’re most comfortable or take them out on pawsome adventures! Dogs of all sizes and activity levels welcome! I enjoy working with dogs who need to brush up on their leash skills to make venturing out in the world easy and enjoyable, and am comfortable walking several large dogs at once if needed! For boarding, I am only accepting dogs at the moment and would like to know their history with other dogs and with cats before booking. Thank you!
A typical day
Between brisk walks with energetic friends or slow saunters with senior pets, I’m happy to provide your pet with whatever they need, physically and mentally. Happy to work with dogs who are reactive, need some leash work, or just a refresher on manners to make your walks with them even more fun! If you’re busy and your furry friend could use an adventure, I’m here to oblige! If I am watching them in your space (or my own) I'll provide plenty of cuddles and activities to keep them entertained and happy while you're away!

Availability
I’m currently available on weekdays for drop-in care, visits, and short or long walks as needed. Limited weekend slots available on request! I am available for in-home pet sitting and am happy to care for your pet in their own home where they are most comfortable. I offer limited boarding in my own home dogs who are good with other dogs and cats!
