Pet care experience
I worked at an animal hospital for over two years where I gained experience caring for many types of cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, and birds. In my zoo of a house I have 4 dogs, 4 cats, 4 snails, and 24 fish. I’m excited to keep growing my family! I have volunteered for animal shelters all my life providing me with the knowledge needed to take care of any animal with any need. I plan to become a certified dog trainer as well as have my own boarding facility and shelter that specializes in dogs with behavioral needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how scary it can be to leave them, which is why I prioritize communication and treat every animal like my own.

We have four cats with very different needs and very different personalities (some less social than others), but they all love Erica - she’s got a way with animals that never fails to amaze. We consider ourselves lucky to have found her!

Erica did an amazing job with taking care of our two cats, Mister Whiskers and Thomas, and our two guinea pigs, Blueberry and Poppy Seed. She was extremely thorough during her visits and followed the care list exactly. She took the time to play with our cats and our very shy Mister Whiskers even came out to socialize! We are very protective of our pets and she made us feel at ease while away. We will definitely be reaching out again the next time we leave!
She was very sweet and punctual. Highly recommend

A typical day
As an avid hiker I know a plethora of walking trails in my area that can fit the abilities of any dog. In addition to exercise I believe it’s important to also stimulate dogs mentally so I would follow up with a training session.
