Hello! My name is Erica. I was born and raised in San Diego, and I have been a dog and cat owner/lover since birth. I am an Animal Care Technician at Helen Woodward Animal Center where I spend my days providing much needed TLC to cats and dogs until they find their forever homes! I also have extensive experience as a dog walker with Wag, The Barking Lot, and with the various breeds of dogs at the AAC and at the Sean Casey Animal Rescue. When I'm not loving on other peoples dogs or finding homes for pets at HWAC, I am cooking some great vegan food, editing documentaries, taking road-trips, and practicing yoga! I hope to hear from you and your furry friends soon.

Erica did an amazing job watching my 5 month puppy. He needed extra rest due to a small injury and Erica did a fantastic job of doing exactly what I requested. With the combination of her backyard and walks in ProspectPark, my pup had all the exercise he needed. I was sent pictures throughout the day and am very happy with this experience.
Erica was very friendly and was able to accommodate our needs at a later notice than we would have initially liked to give, due to another Rover sitter's cancellation. We were slightly disappointed to find out that some damage was done to our home because our dog broke out of her crate. We leave very specific instructions for how to prevent her breaking out, so we are not entirely sure how it happened. Also, we were slightly discouraged when Erica said it happened on Friday night, as we paid for her to stay in our home so our dog shouldn't have been in her crate at night either way. We weren't informed of this event until after messaging Erica after we got home and saw the damage. Erica said her Rover account was messing up, so it would be nice for Rover to make sure the sitters are able to message/contact the owners for when events like this happen. I also never got Erica's phone number so was not able to contact her directly except through the website. At the end of the day, the damage was minimal and our dog was alive and well.
Erica stayed at our house for 8 nights while we were in Spain. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats that she took care of. She went to our house multiple times a day to let the dogs out and to feed them. Two of our cats needed daily medication mixed in their food (she did great with this too). We were very happy with her communication while we were away and our animals were all very happy when we returned home. I texted with her from Spain on a daily basis and she responded in a timely manner. I will definitely be using Erica and Rover again! Thanks for a great experience!!!
