Pet care experience
I have love for all animals and I've had pets of all kinds over my 37 year lifetime. Wide range of experience from farm animals to creepy crawlies, like spiders and snakes. I enjoy spending most of my time outside. I'm constantly feeding the birds, squirrels, and stray cats that visit our yard. I have experience with special needs/senior care and aggression issues.

Sebastian had everything I could have asked for during his stay - daily walks, interaction with other dogs, a comfortable indoor environment with toys and plenty of attention. He was indeed even a bit spoiled as he frequented their sofa and even tried out the bed which he's not allowed to do at home. I received multiple photos per day and his tracker confirmed his activity levels which were at times higher than they are with us. This was a luxury vacation for him and I know he'll be excited to go back the next time we leave town.

AMAZING! I cannot express the gratitude I felt towards Erica. I originally had boarded my dogs with a different sitter who lost one of my dogs within the first hour, and then message saying she wouldn't watch them anymore while I was out of town. Erica coordinated how to get my dogs and then took care of them. The entire time I was gone. She kept me regularly updated with pictures and how they were doing, including pictures of them sleeping in her bed. I will ABSOLUTELY be trusting them with my dogs again next time I go out of town.
Words can not express how happy we are with the love Erica gave our fur baby. Scooter is not a dog to us, he is our family and he is very spoiled. We are very picky about who we leave him with as he has only been watched by our kids. I never Worried about Scooter the entire time he was there with her and her family. 5 Stars are not enough for Erica!! You truly are the BEST!!!

Red Rover Red Rover can your pup come over?!?!? I am new to Rover and one of my goals is to provide safe quality care at affordable prices. Use my promo code ERICAD67157 for $20 off your first Rover booking. We are in the slow process of fully fencing in our property, but we have TWO separate safe fenced areas for pets to run and play. We have 24/7 home security surrounding our 1 acre property and it's a clean, smoke free, drug free, and even alcohol free home. Our home is usually always quiet, since our kids are teenagers, and are gone most of the time. Our oldest son will be leaving for the military or college next year, he's still trying to decide which path he wants to take. Our youngest son, is a high functioning adhd autistic super loving boy, who has a hard time making friends, at least the human kind. During the day, our tv is usually on, just for the noise. My husband sleeps during the day, so I'm usually outside, with the animals or on the lake in my kayak or my paddleboard. My work from home job requires very little hours so I have an abundance of free time. I love ALL animals and it's impossible to pick just one, or two, or three, and that's where pet sitting, for me, comes in. I will truly love them like my own while they're with me. If you don't want your pet spoiled, then I wouldn't be the right sitter for you. Your pet could expect walks around the yard/neighborhood/park daily. Bathroom breaks as often as they want/need because I enjoy being outside. Pets are allowed on our furniture, because we want your pet to feel at home while they're here. We have an abundance of pet beds, toys, blankets, crates, and treats for your pets. Sleeping arrangements for your pet depend on their needs. If you want your pet crated, then that's what they get. If they want to sleep with me, the couch, or on a doggy bed then that's fine too. Whatever they need to be comfortable and happy is the goal and I'm confident whether your pet is high energy and needs extra play time, or needs a calm quiet place, we can provide it all. We are open/flexible to hosting other animals/pets just ask! I would love the opportunity for you to let my husband and I provide a safe and worry free experience for both you and your pets. My goal is for you to relax and enjoy your vacation knowing your pet will be loved and cared for as our own. You can have peace of mind knowing your pet will be played with and walked daily, with daily updates sent through Rover. We want your pet to feel like their on vacation too!

A typical day
Plenty of outside time in the fenced area with toys. Scratches and belly rubs. Fun walks around the the yard/neighborhood/park. Frequent potty/sniff breaks. Calm and quiet inside time with toys and lounges all over the house. Daily treats provided with permission.

Availability
My husband works night shift, at a local company less than 5 minutes from our home, and I'm a quiet introvert, who works from home, and prefers to spend my time with all the four legged animals I can. Between my husband and I and our 2 teenage sons, we have nearly unlimited time, love, and space to give to your sweet pets. We are less than a 10 minute drive from I20, Hwy 78, and Hwy 101. We are 10 minute walk to the local park and lake. I have wide open availability and I'm available on short notice. I'm available for pickup and drop-off requests as early as 4 am and as late as midnight. Please keep in mind, we host pets from multiple families at the same time. We are a crate free home, unless you specifically want your pet crated, or it's absolutely necessary to do so. Pets are never left unsupervised inside or out. Meet and greets aren't required, but if you would like to schedule one, I'm available anytime by phone/text/video chat. I'm currently unavailable for in person meet and greets without a confirmed booking.
