Erica’s dream is to grow into a small hobby farm with a training and boarding facility. Ciara has been caring for family pets since she was in her teens and adores animals of all sizes.

Erica and Ciara did a great job taking care of my golden retriever while I was away on vacation. They sent lots of pictures and updates which gave me peice of mind while I was away from her, and she looked like she was having a blast playing with their pups. She has a lingering leg injury which she is prone to re-injuring if she plays too hard, but they were careful not to let her over do it and kept her safe. I would definitely use them again to care for my dog in the future.

Our fenced in back yard has a smaller area within the fence just for pups and the larger yard which includes the chickens in their own fenced in space as well as a furnished patio and garden beds. We have a kennel area next to the puppy playroom to set up visitors in so they can have their own space to rest, recharge, and eat meals. It has a radio and crates of different sizes for those who are kennel trained. You can see pictures of our set up (kennel area, bedroom kennels, and our backyard) in the photo array. Whether in your home or ours, we are happy to serve your pets whatever food you’d like including homemade, raw, canned food, or kibble. We just ask that it be premade so we need only measure out the amount and feed your babies.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs, reactivity, or prey drive. We want to ensure your pups are happy, healthy, and having fun when they’re with us while keeping everyone safe.
A typical day
While at our home, dogs will have daily access to a fenced in backyard with space to run and play. If they’re a fan of other pups, they can play with our dogs, but if they prefer their own space, we have a fenced in puppy play area with water, shade, toys, and a sandbox. We love playing training games at home as well! We also have a puppy playroom taking up the majority of our basement. It has blankets to nest in, a raised bed to cool off on, little blocks and a picnic table to climb, and plenty of space to chase and play with other pups or play fetch with us. If you want your dog to work on a specific trick or general training, please reach out to schedule training sessions during their stay! (No extra charge)

Availability
One of us is home the majority of the time, the longest we’re both out of the house is 4 hours on a day we both work. We have a puppy play room in the basement for hot or cold days and a fenced in yard for plenty of playtime!
