I’ve spent a lot of quality time with my dog and my neighbors’ dogs, who have asked me to care for their dogs because of the love and care I’ve shown my dog, Ubuntu. My Home: I have a very warm and welcoming home for dogs. My partner and I treat dogs who visit our home with just as much attention and care as we do our own. Our dog is incredibly warm, loveable, and welcoming. She absolutely loves meeting new friends and quickly shows them around her home and neighborhood. I also spend a lot of time at home due to the nature of my work, so I’ve got time to provide true care for my dog and others! Drop-Ins & Walks: I apply the same love and care with drop-ins and walks for dogs and pups! I’m a former elementary school teacher. I just completed my PhD in education, having taught both in K-5 and higher education. I care for animals in the same manner I cared for my students!

Blake had a GREAT time this weekend. He and Erica's dog Ubu became fast friends and played all weekend long. Erica was very responsive and easy to coordinate drop off/pick up. She also sent me a ton of pictures and videos of both Blake and Ubu playing together. Would recommend Erica to anyone.
Look no further for an amazing, attentive sitter/walker for your canine family members. Erica sent pics throughout the weekend along with updates. I couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend, Erica!
Erica is the best! In our meet and greet, Erica made sure all bases were covered and made me and Acorn feel at ease. She was happy to walk our dogs together right off the bat so they could get a non threatening introduction (super helpful for my dog!). Erica's dog, Ubu, is also a sweetheart. I got fantastic pictures of Acorn and Ubu snuggling together all weekend long. I felt like my dog was in good hands with her, and when I came to pick up Acorn she was calm and happy (which doesn't always happen with her after being at a dog sitter's). I would highly recommend Erica, even to someone with a nervous dog like mine :)
Erica was amazing! She was extremely flexible with my schedule for drop-off and pick-up, sent me amazing pictures with updates daily and Ralph came home one happy doggy!! I would highly recommend Erica to anyone needing a dog sitter, I will definitely be using her again! Thanks, Erica!

At my home I have a small side yard, but with no grass. There is a lot of green space in my neighborhood, including open grass areas and a park within walking distance. I frequently take my dog on walks around the neighborhood and the nearby park and treat dogs that stay with me the same. When doing drop-ins or walks, I like to know as much as possible about routines that help me develop a safe and trusting relationship with your dog. Are there particular toys, treats, smells/sounds, walking routes, etc. that they love and that'll help me develop a relationship with them. In short, I love to give as much love and care as possible to every dog I meet.

A typical day
Neighborhood walks to the park, dog friendly park areas close to my home, quality play time with Ubuntu indoors and outdoors (for dog boarding), running and sprinting if they enjoy it! My dog, Ubuntu, certainly does :)

Availability
I teach university undergraduates during the fall and spring semesters, but have more free time during the summers to spend time caring and loving on my own dog. I also love spreading the joy and caring for other dogs, so when time allows I love fitting in pet care into my daily and weekly routine.
